Andrew Dosunmu works in film and photography. Raised and educated in Nigeria, Dosunmu began his career as a design assistant at the fashion house of Yves Saint Laurent and has subsequently worked as a Creative Director and fashion photographer. His photographs have appeared in international magazines including Vogue, Ebony, i-D, and The Face. In 2006, Dosunmu participated in Snap Judgments: New Positions in Contemporary Photography curated by Okwui Enwezor at the International Center of Photography. His documentary Hot Irons (1999) won best documentary at FESPACO and the Toronto Reel Award, and his first feature-length film, Restless City, was part of the Official Selection in the 2011 Sundance Film Festival.
